仕事の関係でオーストラリアに赴任することになり、シドニーで「2週間のホテル隔離」を経験しました。
本記事では、オーストラリアでのホテル隔離に関連して、知っておいた方が良い英単語を紹介します。
隔離されるホテルや州によっても異なるとは思いますが、少しでも参考になればと思います。
オーストラリアホテル隔離｜知っておいた方が良い英単語
空港到着後の問診やチェックイン、ホテル隔離中の体調確認の電話などで、よく聞かれた英単語を以下にまとめました。
Fever 「熱、発熱」
例文：If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms, you might have COVID-19.
Cough 「せき」
例文：A cough is a common symptom in many people that develop COVID-19.
Sore/Scratchy Throat 「のどの痛み、のどのイガイガ」
例文：If you have a sore throat or other symptoms and think you may have COVID-19, stay home and call your doctor to discuss your symptoms.
Shortness of Breath 「息切れ、呼吸困難」
例文：Shortness of breath is more likely to be a warning sign of COVID-19 if it's accompanied by a fever, cough, or body aches.
Runny Nose 「鼻水」
例文：A sore throat and runny nose are typically the first signs of a cold.
Conjunctivitis 「結膜炎」
例文：Coronavirus infection is rarely associated with conjunctivitis, with occasional cases reported in patients with confirmed COVID‐19, along with isolated cases of conjunctivitis as a presenting sign.
Loss of Smell 「嗅覚消失」
例文：Loss of smell can occur suddenly in people with COVID-19 and is often accompanied by loss of taste.
Loss of Taste 「味覚消失」
例文：The first sign of COVID-19 is often the loss of taste and smell, also known as anosmia.
Fatigue 「疲労、倦怠感」

Muscle Pain 「筋肉痛」

Joint Pain 「関節の痛み」

Diarrhea 「下痢」

隔離費用の支払いについて
